The History of Carrie Manor St.
The work in Manor has been a ongoing effort since 1965.  It became a reality with the support of the Cameron Road church of Christ. At that time the members were worshiping in the now fellowship hall at the church. The church had about 35 members then, and was on a upswing towards growth. Men such as. Bro.Wiener , Bro. Zennie Booker, Bro. Morris Chancey, and Bro. Jesse Fogle came in the upstart of the congregation, and served faithfully for many years. Like many congregations, the church in Manor has experienced wonderful times of service as well as various disappointments. Today though, our church has a membership of 40 and is comprised of primarily of individuals and families from Manor/Austin area
